Hi!!! I’m Dani 🩷🤍
I’m a 2L at the University of Baltimore School of Law. I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in broadcast journalism and gender studies. Since I was a freshman in college, I’ve used this blog as an outlet to express my frustrations, hopes, highs, and lows.
Writing has always empowered me. There’s power in taking the anger we’re taught to swallow and putting it into words. Especially in a world that benefits from our silence and fears our voice.
“Don’t hold back because you think it’s unladylike. We shouldn’t be shamed out of our anger. We should be using it. Using it to make change in our own lives, and using it to make change in the lives around us.”
Jessica Valenti
Everything that makes us “unladylike”, being angry, loud, or bossy, are the exact things that give us our power.
So, I created lessthanladylike.net to make space for that power, to complain, and to remind myself (and every person reading) that we were never meant to stay quiet.
This is me!
